Lynn Lane's Photography and Art

I'm a professional photographer/artist living in Houston, Texas and I teach at the Houston Center for Photography. In my photography, I primarily shoot editorial, dance, portrait and documentary based work. I also draw and paint various things. I was recently named one of Houston's Top "100 Creatives" by the Houston Press.

I use this blog as kind of a running train of thought about my work. Take a look at my website to see my portfolio Lynn Lane Photography

2013.05.08

This is a photo that I shot of a friend of mine, Jo Bird, who is one of the most incredible musicians in Houston. She plays viola for Two Star Symphony as well as many other projects.

Today has been a great day in the studio and even better to see this wonderful piece in “Dance Teacher” magazine by Nancy Wozny featuring a photo that I shot with NobleMotion Dance in a two-page spread! I’m hugely thrilled and honored! This will be in the June 2013 issue that hits the stands soon! This is a single shot…not photoshopped!
